UCONN Women's Club Lacrosse

We are a year-round club sport that competes in the New England Women's Lacrosse League (NEWLL), which includes teams such as URI, BC, UMass, and Northeastern. We are a student-run organization comprised of players who have played throughout high school and desire a high level of play on the field.

 

Tryouts are held at the beginning of the fall semester, and typically 2 hour practices are held twice a week during both semesters.  We play 1-2 games a week in both the fall and the spring, and in the spring we travel to a WCLA tournament where we play some of the top club teams in the nation.  In the past, we have traveled to Boulder, CO; Santa Barbara, CA; and Clemson, SC to play against teams such as Texas, Georgia, Oregon, San Diego State, and Arizona.
